U-21: Spanish national team defeats Germany to become continent champion in Euro 2019 final

The Spanish national team defeated Germany in the decisive match of the European Youth Championship and became the champion of the continent for the fifth time in its history.

On June 30, the national teams of Spain and Germany met in the final match of the European Youth Championship (U-21) at the Friuli Stadium in Udine, Italy. Despite the fact that the initiative was taken by the German team, which pressed the whole meeting on the gates of the Spaniards, in the 8th minute led the wards of Luis de la Fuente. Fabian Ruiz scored the goal.

Germany's attempts to restore parity proved futile, but the Spaniards doubled their lead in the 69th minute thanks to Dan Olmo. However, the Bundestim did not fold their hands and, in the 88th minute, Nadima Amiri made one effort to score. However, this was not enough for the overall success.

As a result, Spain took revenge for the defeat of Germany in the final of Euro 2017 (0: 1). Now the Spanish youth is a five-time European champion.
