On September 10, the national team of Ukraine will play a friendly match for the first time in history with the three-time champion of Africa - the national team of Nigeria, which recently confirmed its status as one of the strongest teams on the continent with bronze medals in the 2019 African Cup.
Members of the UAF Executive Committee approved Dnipro-Arena as the venue for this match. "Given the postponement of the friendly match with the Turks, which was to take place in the Dnieper in November last year, such a decision is completely logical and fair," said UAF President Andriy Pavelko. "This match will be the best gift for Dnipro, the main outpost of Ukraine in the east, and the first match of the national team in the city in the last 10 years."
The UAF Executive Committee also approved the Zaporizhzhya Slavutych Arena as the venue for the Ukraine-Estonia friendly match scheduled for November 14. This meeting will be the first match in the history of the national team in Zaporozhye.
