Women's Champions League: Kharkiv "Zhitlobud-1" lost to "Minsk" and dropped out of the tournament

In the third round of the qualifying round of the Women's Champions League, Kharkiv's Zhytlobud-1 lost to Minsk and did not reach the 1/16 finals of the tournament.

After winning over Croatian "Split" and Luxembourg "Bettemburg" in the last round, the Ukrainians faced the Belarusian "Minsk". Rivals also had six points, but better than Kharkiv, the difference in goals. So our team was satisfied only with the victory.

Unfortunately, Kharkiv women could not solve this problem. After an equal fight in the first half, Zhytlobud-1 missed the ball "in the locker room". The beginning of the second half of the game was also left for Minsk. In the 52nd minute, they doubled their advantage - 2: 0.

Having got into a difficult situation, our girls did everything to save the fight. In the 72nd minute, they earned a penalty, but Daria Apanashchenko's shot was taken by the goal post. At another moment, the ball hit the crossbar - again after Apanashchenko's shot.

However, despite all attempts by Ukrainian women to balance the situation, the score on the scoreboard remained unchanged. 

In another match of the third round in Group 4, "Split" easily beat "Bettemburg". However, this meeting did not solve anything.
