Andriy Shevchenko is among the top 10 best coaches of the 2019 national team
The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has released the results of the voting of its members (90 countries), which determined the best mentors teams in 2019.
Following the results of the referendum, the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko took the eighth place. Also in the top 25 best was Alexander Petrakov - the leader of our world champions in the U-20 age category.
The winner of the poll was the coach of the Portuguese national team Fernando Santos - the winner of the UEFA Premier League of Nations. It will be recalled that this year Shevchenko's wards met Santos' team twice (0: 0, 2: 1) and were ahead of them in the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament.
It is interesting that Shevchenko has 41 points, which became a new record for Ukraine. Earlier in 2005, Oleg Blokhin scored 28 points.
