Introducing the national team of Ukraine in cyber football: Vitaliy budb_Prosche Litvinov

As part of the presentation of Ukraine's first ever cyber football team, we present the main player of the national team Vitaliy Litvinov. 

On November 30, in the House of Football the final of the national selection for the national team of Ukraine in cyber football passed. According to him, the first ever national team in this sport was formed. It included two primary and two reserve players.

The national team will compete for the right to represent our country at the European Championship in the discipline KONAMI'seFootballPES 2020. We have already represented the reservists - Maxim Andrasyuk and Igor Lyubchak. Today we bring to your attention an interview with the main player - 33-year-old Vitaly Litvinov.

- Vitaly, are you interested in real football?

- Yes, interest in football appeared in early childhood. It was always tempting to go outside and throw the ball with friends. Then I went to the nearest section. Therefore, since childhood I am well versed in teams, players and traditions. My favorite club is my native Dnipro, I am waiting for its revival from the ashes. If we talk about Europe, then "Barcelona".

- How long have you been playing PES?

- Like any boy, I was always drawn to the game console. "Dandy", "Subor", "Sega", then the first generation Sony Playstation. Then he started playing the first football games. Then, of course, he grew up, life made adjustments, there was not enough time to play. I returned to the PES game a year ago. Of course, at first a lot didn't work out, but then I started to "work on mistakes" ... And here I am in the national team of Ukraine.

- Did you take part in tournaments? Are there any achievements?

- You can say no. Compared to other collections, I am a green novice. Qualifying for the national team can be called my first tournament. But, as they say, beginners are lucky. The first tournament, and in it - the most important result at the moment. 

- What are the prospects in cyber football?

- E-sports in the world is developing at a tremendous pace. The profession of e-sportsman is becoming more prestigious. E-sports will soon be included in the Olympic Games. There are many tournaments in the world with huge prize funds, with world-famous sponsors and a multi-million audience of fans. And if we consider that football is the number one game, then the prospects for cyber football are crazy. Unfortunately, we are still lagging behind in this aspect compared to Europe. Juventus, Barça, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and other clubs have already set up PES cyber football teams! Why our grandees sleep is a mystery ... Especially since both Dynamo and Shakhtar are represented in this game ... I would like to ask our players to help develop our discipline. It seems to me that they will be able to convey the right message to the leadership.

- What are the chances of the national team to get to eEURO-2020?

- A lot will depend on the draw. The main thing is not to get into the "death group", not to go there without luck. For comparison, take the Italians, French, Spaniards. In my opinion, these are the strongest teams in PES. There are many professional or semi-professional players. In Ukraine, we still have only amateurs. It is difficult to compete, for us it is a hobby, for them it is a job. They are treated differently, the incentives are different. All top players have game monitors, routers and other tricks. And, of course, the colossal difference in quality online. Ping solves a lot, in most cases we lose not because of the skill, but because of a large ping (ping is the period of time during which a packet sent from your computer passes through the network to another computer or server and returns. - Approx. Ed.).

Servers in Europe, they have a clear advantage here. Give us equal conditions, give us the same security - and we will play on equal terms. With excellent online and a successful draw, we are obliged to be on eEURO. And offline, everyone has the same conditions. There, psychology will come to the fore, not skill, the second number is easier to play. Let's prepare and fight to the last.
