WU-17: in 2020 the Ukrainian national team will participate in two rounds of the European Championship

Ukraine's WU-17 girls' national team will meet for the first time in late February. From the 22nd to the 29th the training session will take place, within which two friendly matches are scheduled.

This work will be dedicated to preparing for the elite round selection of Euro 2020 (WU-17), which will be held in Norway on March 23-29. Apart from the hosts, Serhiy Sapronov's wards will compete with the teams of the Czech Republic and Poland. The collection on the eve of departure to Norway will begin on March 16.

On March 23, the Ukrainians will meet with their Norwegian peers, on March 26 they will play a match against the Czech Republic, and on March 29 - with Poland. The winners of the groups will go to the final tournament, which will take place in Sweden from May 10 to 22.

And in the fall Ukrainian girls will start the Euro-2021 (WU-17), qualifying round which will take place on September 28-October 4 in Estonia. Teams from France and Iceland will compete there together with the hosts and Ukrainians for the elite round. Ukrainian girls will gather together on September 21.

In preparation for these competitions in the national team WU-17 (now - WU-16) is scheduled to participate in two tournaments. From May 9 to 15, the blue and yellows will play in the UEFA Development Tournament in Finland (training camp will start on May 4), and from August 22 to 29 there will be another stage of preparation, during which they will travel to Latvia for two friendly matches with the national team. hosts.

We will add that the goalkeepers of this team, as well as the goalkeepers of all other Ukrainian women's national teams, will hold two training camps, one of which will be held from February 1 to 7, and the other - from June 24 to 30.
