The coach of the Austrian national team Franco Foda gave an exclusive interview to the official website of the Austrian Football Association, in which he outlined the team's task for the final part of Euro 2020.

Head coach of one of the rivals of the national team of Ukraine in the group in the final part of the European Championship 2020 in an interview with the press service of the AFS told about the plans of the Austrians at this tournament.

In particular, Franco Foda noted: “Now we have the vast majority of players in full order, and the coaching staff is even spoiled by the choice in some positions. We may have to make very tough decisions. It will be unpleasant, but it is part of our work. From January, each player will have the opportunity to prove their need to the Austrian national team. Then I have to make the right decisions to achieve more at the European Championships than four years ago. "

It will be recalled that before the start of the European Championship, the Austrian national team planned to hold four sparring matches. On March 27, the Austrians will play against Wales (the venue will be determined later). On March 30, at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Franco Fody's wards will meet with Turkey, and on June 2 - with England. Finally, a control match against the Czech Republic will take place on June 7 in Prague. 

The match between Ukraine and Austria in the framework of the group round of Euro 2020 will take place on June 22 (starting at 19.00 Kyiv time).
