Not all scheduled matches in the UEFA tournaments will be held next week, including the Champions League and Europa League matches.

According to informed the UEFA official website, given the current situation with the spread of COVID-19 in Europe and the accompanying decisions taken by the authorities of different countries, all UEFA matches scheduled for next week are postponed to a later date.

The decision applies to the matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League scheduled for March 17 and 18, all the matches of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League scheduled for March 19, and the matches of the 1/4 finals of the Youth League UEFA scheduled for March 17 and 18, 2020.

The decision of when these matches will take place will be taken later.

Due to the postponement of the draws of the 1/4 finals of the Champions League and the Europa League, scheduled for March 20, are also postponed.

Yesterday UEFA invited representatives of 55 national associations, the board of the Association of European Clubs, representatives of the European leagues and the trade union of FIFPro players to participate in a video conference to discuss the situation. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th.

Thus, the return match of the 1/8 finals of the Shakhtar-Wolfsburg Europa League, which was to take place in Kharkiv on March 19, has been postponed.
