The position of the head coach of the First League Chornomorets remained vacant for more than two weeks, until a new manager, Serhii Kovalets, was introduced to Odesa football players.

By the way, in the 1996/1997 season, the ex-midfielder of the national team of Ukraine played for the "sailors", and from 2015 to 2018 the colors of Odessa were defended by his son Kirill. The general director of Odessa FC Anatoliy Misyura does not hide that the club management had to make every effort to keep the team.

PFL clubs following the example of UAF continue to assist in the fight against coronavirus. Oleksandr Povoroznyuk, the president of FC Ingulets, made a generous gift to the medics of the Petrivka district in the Kirovohrad region, who handed over a hotel built for rival teams to the community. Soon the local authorities plan to build a 20-apartment house in it.

On May 12, the first full-fledged training session was held by the leaders of the first league, Rukh footballers. It took place at the stadium of the Agrarian University in Dublyany, near Lviv. On the eve of the training, the players, coaching staff and medical and administrative staff were examined and tested. All players are healthy and have been allowed to resume training.

Representatives of the Second League are also trying to keep up. One of the leaders of group "B", "Alliance", in Sumy also passed the necessary testing and is going to continue preparations for the second part of the season on May 18.
