Volunteers will prepare for the "Open Football Lessons" in an adapted format

From August 17 to 23, Zaporizhia will host a training for volunteers of the social project "Open Football Lessons", which helps children of migrants from Donbass and Crimea with the support of the European Union.

Representatives of nine regions of Ukraine will take part in three seminars organized in compliance with the requirements of quarantine restrictions: Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kyiv regions.

Project volunteers will prepare for a new format of activities, adapted to all sanitary and anti-epidemic norms.

UAF First Vice President Vadym Kostyuchenko notes: “The project will be resumed when the children go to school again. In the meantime, teachers, coaches, school psychologists and juvenile prevention police officers will improve their skills in working with boys and girls who want to join football and need the most attention. "

And next Monday, August 17, in the conference hall of the Zaporizhzhya hotel "Reykarts" (Mayakovsky Ave., 19) will be a press conference "Open football lessons: helping children with IDPs" (beginning - at 15.30).

At the press conference, which will also be held in compliance with anti-epidemic norms, among other things, a guide for volunteers and a video of the project will be presented.

The participants of the press conference will be: Yevhen Stolitenko, national project coordinator from the Ukrainian Football Association; Viktor Mezheiko, Chairman of the Zaporizhia Regional Football Association; Natalia Vlasova, Head of the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration. Representatives of Zorya football club Luhansk, based in Zaporizhia, are also expected to participate.
