U-19: Ukraine rivals in the Euro-2021/2022 qualifying round have been determined

Today in Nyon, the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 (currently U-18, players born in 2003, head coach - Oleksandr Petrakov) received rivals in the qualifying round of the Euro selection.

During the draw ceremony, Ukraine according to UEFA ranking was in pot A. A total of 52 national teams took part in the draw. The blue-and-yellows are in Group 5, where they will play against the national teams of Poland, Finland and Malta.

The hosts of the mini-tournaments of the Euro-2021/2022 qualifying round will be determined later.

Composition of Euro-2021/2022 (U-19) qualifying round groups

Group 1: England, Sweden, Switzerland, Andorra.

Group 2: Germany, Greece, Russia, Faroe Islands.

Group 3: Austria, Hungary, Belarus, Estonia.

Group 4: The Netherlands, Israel, Cyprus, Moldova.

Group 5: Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Malta.

Group 6: Ireland, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro.

Group 7: France, Serbia, Northern Macedonia, Albania.

Group 8: Spain, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg.

Group 9: Turkey, Romania, Latvia, San Marino.

Group 10: Norway, Georgia, Wales, Kosovo.

Group 11: Croatia, Scotland, Armenia, Gibraltar.

Group 12: Italy, Slovenia, Iceland, Lithuania.

Group 13: Czech Republic, Denmark, Northern Ireland, Kazakhstan.

Mini-tournaments in groups will take place from August 30 to September 7, from October 4 to 12, or from November 8 to 16, 2021.

The Portuguese national team, as the team with the highest UEFA rating, received an automatic pass to the elite qualifying round, which will take place in the spring of 2022.

The winners of the first two places in the quartets and the best team among those who will take third place in the matches with the first and second teams, will join Portugal in the elite qualifying round. There will be 28 national teams divided into seven groups, the winners of which at Euro-2022 will form a company in Slovakia.

The national team of Slovakia received a direct pass to the final stage of Euro-2021/2022 as the host of the tournament, which will take place in the summer of 2022.
