Ukraine rival at Euro 2020. The current coach of the Northern Macedonia team will remain in office

The head coach of the Northern Macedonia national team, Igor Angelovski, has extended his contract with the national football federation.

Official site of the Football Federation of Northern Macedonia informedthat the coach of the national team Igor Angelovsky will remain in office at least until the end of Euro 2020. The FFPM management and the Macedonian specialist agreed on all issues of the new contract.

Igor Angelovsky's previous contract expired at the end of 2020. After that, its extension was the subject of negotiations between the 44-year-old specialist and the Board of Directors of the FFPM, which were successful. 

"I am grateful to the president of the federation and the board of directors for their trust. I promise to use all my potential to continue the successful performances of the national team of Northern Macedonia. I signed a new agreement, putting national interests above personal ones. Thank you for the support of the team captain, players and fans.

I believe that we will repeatedly rejoice in great victories and celebrate them on the streets of our country's cities, "said Ihor Angelovsky. 

It will be recalled that the national team of Northern Macedonia will play in the group round of the final tournament of Euro 2020 in the same quartet with Ukraine, the Netherlands and Austria.
