Maxim Derkach: "In the match with Turkey we will attack more"

Midfielder of the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 Maksym Derkach believes that the blue-yellows still lack a bit of play.

After the BANNIKOV CUP tournament match Bulgaria - Ukraine (0: 1) the author of the winning goal in the blue-yellow team Maxim Derkach answered questions from the official website of the UAF.

- Maxim, Bulgaria turned out to be the strongest rival in the group?

- So. I will not say that it was easy with Armenians and Belarusians, but in the game with the Bulgarians it was noticeable that these guys are not playing together for the first year, and for us it is a debut training camp, so there were difficulties. But nothing, I believe that we just need a few more fights to begin to fully understand each other.

- What was the most difficult for you and your partners in the match with the Bulgarians?

- Opponents controlled the ball well, they had no problems with technical equipment, so we had to play a lot in the selection. In addition, the tactics of our coaching staff were chosen more defensively, because in this game Ukraine was satisfied with a draw. However, in the final match with Turkey, I think we will attack more (smiles). I saw one of her matches in this tournament and I can say that this is one of the strongest teams.

- Will you have enough strength to play in this mode?

- I have no doubt. We have a great coaching staff and medical staff, so I am sure that the Ukrainian national team will be fully armed for the match with Turkey.
