UEFA Nations League-2022/2023: rivals of Ukraine in League B have been determined

The UEFA Nations League-2022/2023 draw ceremony took place in Nyon, Switzerland, and the rivals of the national team of Ukraine have been determined.

As in the previous cycle, 16 teams will play in divisions A, B and C, and seven teams in division D. During the draw, Ukraine was placed in the first pot of League B and received one opponent from the second, third and fourth pots. In Group B1, the blue-yellows will play against Scotland, Ireland and Armenia.

Regulations of the League of Nations-2022/2023 

In divisions A, B and C, participants are divided into four groups of four teams. The winners of the groups in Division A will play in the final stage of the competition (semifinals and final). The host country will be chosen from among the finalists. The teams that take the last places in their quartets will move to Division B.

The teams that take the first places in the groups of divisions B, C and D will rise according to divisions A, B and C. The teams that take the last places in division B will move to division C. The two worst teams of division C will be determined in the playoffs. off among the last four teams) will move to Division D. In Division D, the teams are divided into two groups (four and three teams).

Match calendar

1st round: June 2-4, 2022.

2st round: June 5-8, 2022.

3st round: June 9-11, 2022.

4st round: June 12-14, 2022.

Final round of the tournament: June 14-18, 2023.

Tickets for Euro-2024 - through the Nations League

According to the preliminary scheme, which is yet to be approved by the UEFA Executive Committee, the winners and the second teams of 20 qualifying groups will receive 2024 tickets to the final tournament of Euro-10, where Germany automatically got as the host. Three more licenses will be drawn in March 2024 in the two-round playoffs between the 12 best teams of the League of Nations-2022/2023 (among those who do not get to the Euro directly). The playoffs will be announced in June 2022.
