Ukrainian FIFA efootball team have played matches of the second matchweek in the play-in of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.

This stage of qualifying has begun in December 2021 and will last until April 2022. It includes four game weeks, the results of which will determine six holders of passes to FIFAe Nations Cup XNUMX. 

National electronic teams compete with each other in the "2vs2" mode of the FIFA 22 on the PlayStation 5. The Ukrainian team is represented by a pair of players - Oleksiy ForlanFS Mercer and Andriy CIG_STEPOVER Shakalov.

The national team of Ukraine started the game week unsuccessfully, conceding four goals from the Israeli team. However, our efootballers did not fall apart and took revenge in the second game of the tie, winning the match with a single goal and a coordinated game in defense.

The fact of the first and such an important victory affected the psychology of the team, which in the next match naturally beat Malta, allowing opponents only a goal under the curtain of the meeting. The Ukrainians even scored first in the second confrontation with the islanders, but a series of unforced errors led to a crushing defeat - 1: 5.

The Ukraine-Czech Republic confrontation was literally goalless and tactical. Neither team took a risk, and the game went to the first goal. But in the first match there was an incredibly emotional outcome: Ukraine scored the winning goal in the last seconds, and the Czech defender helped to score. Oleksiy ForlanFS Mercer and Andriy CIG_STEPOVER Shakalov should have won the second match, but the opponent managed to avoid defeat in the last minutes.

The final chord of the game day was an English master class for the national team of Ukraine. The main favorites of the group were head and shoulders above our players and easily took six points in two matches.

After the first day of the second matchweek, the national team of Ukraine occupies the third position in division 2, which in case of successful performances in Friday's matches will allow Oleksiy ForlanFS Mercer and Andriy CIG_STEPOVER Shakalov to go to Division 1.

Already today, Ukrainian efootball players will hold two more matches - with the teams of Hungary and Norway.
