Officially. Teams from Ukraine and Belarus will compete in all UEFA tournaments

The UEFA Executive Committee, of which UAF President Andriy Pavelko is a member, has decided to separate teams from Ukraine and Belarus in all future UEFA tournaments with immediate effect until further changes.

On March 3, 2022, the UEFA Executive Committee decided that since the Russian army invaded Ukraine from Belarus, all Belarusian clubs and national teams participating in UEFA tournaments should play their home matches on neutral fields. In addition, the matches in which the Belarusian teams will be the hosts will be held without spectators.

Today's extra decision approved for the unimpeded conduct of UEFA tournaments, as the safety of teams, officials and other participants in the match cannot be fully guaranteed due to the presence of military conflict.

The UEFA Executive Committee will remain ready to hold additional meetings to re-evaluate the legal and factual situation as it develops and take further decisions if necessary.

The UEFA Executive Committee also approved today special rules for the final part of the women's Euro-2022, which will be held from 6 to 31 July 2022 in England to ensure a successful tournament against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
