General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: operational information on the Russian invasion (as of 06.00 25.01.2023)

We bring to your attention the operative information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00:25.01.2023 on March XNUMX, XNUMX regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and thirty-sixth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the day, the enemy launched four missile and 26 air strikes. He also fired more than 100 rounds from the MLRS.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine is high.

The enemy, suffering numerous losses, still does not stop offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions. In Kupyansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson — it is being defended.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Rozdolivka, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Charivne in Donetsk region.

On the Volyn, Polis, Siver and Slobozhan directions no signs of enemy offensive groups were found. Areas of more than 40 settlements were shelled. Among them are Khrinivka and Karpovychi of Chernihiv region; Glukhiv, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Atynske, Solyaniki and Pavlivka in the Sumy region, as well as Gatishche, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Budarky and Dvorichna in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Vilshan, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction Makiyivka, Ploshanka, Chervonopivka, Nevske, Terny and Yampolivka of Luhansk region suffered fire damage.

In the Bakhmut direction more than 30 settlements came under the influence of enemy fire, including Verkhnyokamianske, Spirnye, Bilogorivka, Krasnopolivka, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Klishchiivka, Stupochki, Bila Gora, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba, Severnye, Zalizne, and New York of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Orlivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Mykhailivka in Donetsk region were affected by the fire of the occupiers.

In the Novopavlovsk direction Novoukrainka, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Neskuchne, Bogoyavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Niva and Mykilske in the Donetsk region were shelled.

On the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions areas of more than 40 settlements were affected by tank and artillery fire. Among them are Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Novoberislav, Odradokamyanka, Ivanivka, Veletenske in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson, where the invaders shelled a maternity hospital, a school, and a polyclinic.

Russia is recruiting imprisoned Ukrainian citizens who were forcibly taken to Russian prisons. In particular, in Krasnodar there is an active recruitment of such persons to the private military company "Wagner". The majority of Ukrainian prisoners are not satisfied with the forced change of situation and the contemptuous attitude of Russian prisoners towards them. People who are serving sentences for serious criminal offenses are most actively called to participate in the war against Ukraine.

From Kakhovka in the Kherson region, the occupiers are taking the medical equipment of the central city hospital to the city of Henichesk in the Kherson region.

During the past XNUMX hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces made eight strikes on enemy concentration areas, as well as three strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.

At the same time, our defenders destroyed Su-25, three Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters, three Orlan-type UAVs, one Merlin-type UAV and one Lancet-type UAV.

Gunners and rocket launchers struck the enemy's control post and nine areas where the occupiers were concentrated.
