"Justice will be served!" Address of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, addressed the nation, talking about today's measures taken by the special services of our country to ensure legality and justice, and about the increase in offensive actions of the occupiers at the front.

"I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

Today is a fruitful day for our state — fruitful in confronting those who, even now, tried to weaken Ukraine. We will not allow anyone to weaken our state.

Thank you to all law enforcement officers who demonstrated the power of the law and the state today. Thank you to the government of Ukraine for the prompt personnel response. In particular, the heads of customs were dismissed today. I was informed that disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against some of those dismissed.

Unfortunately, in some areas, the only way to guarantee legitimacy is by changing leaders along with the introduction of institutional changes. Changing as much as is necessary so that in the end people do not get dirty in positions.

Today, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Bureau of Economic Security and the Prosecutor's Office conducted dozens of searches and other actions in various regions and against various individuals within the framework of open criminal proceedings. I do not want to give political assessments that can be used by these persons in the interests of their defense. But I see from the reaction in society that people support the actions of law enforcement officers. So, the movement towards justice is felt. And justice will be ensured.

Cleanliness of processes in the structures of the Ministry of Defense and the defense forces in general is especially important. Any domestic supply, any procurement, everything must be absolutely as clean and honest as the external supply for our defense. Whoever interferes with this will not remain in the relevant structures.

And today I would like to personally thank the employees of the National Police of Ukraine, who quickly reacted to the shameful facts that became known yesterday... The facts of abuse of girls. Criminal proceedings have been initiated. There are the first arrests of criminals. Procedural actions are ongoing. There will be no place for violence in Ukraine.

Today was also quite an active diplomatic day - the President of Austria visited our country together with several ministers of the Austrian government. There are strong intergovernmental agreements, there is a clear understanding that Austria will not be neutral in matters of protecting life and Europe. There is a clear Austrian position on the condemnation of Russian aggression and readiness to further increase pressure against Russia for terror.

I thank Mr. President of Austria, representatives of Austrian cities and communities for being together with Ukraine.

Of course, today I held several operational meetings with our military.

A certain increase in the offensive actions of the occupiers at the front - in the east of our country - is recorded. The situation is becoming even tougher.

Thanks to all our soldiers who are ready for this and who demonstrate the resilience that Ukraine needs.

We steadily passed all this time - from February to February. The enemy is trying to get at least something now, so that on the anniversary of the invasion, they can show that there are some chances in Russia.

We should all be especially united in such conditions, especially focused on state interests and, as a result, especially stable. I am sure that we will be like that.

In the evening, he already signed the traditional decrees on awarding our soldiers. 244 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were awarded state awards.
