In the face-to-face match of the UEFA Youth League, Oskar Ratulutra's wards lost to Croatian "Hajduk".

"Shakhtar" boys in the group round of the Champions League Road took second place in Quartet F, so they got into a play-off match where they had to face one of the eight teams from the Path of Champions. By the will of the lot, orange and black dropped out to play against the Croatian "Hajduk". Contact matches were held on the fields of teams from the Champions' Path.
