League of Europe. "Dnipro-1" lost to "Slavia" Prague in the first match of the third qualifying round

The vice-champion of Ukraine, "Dnipro-1" began its appearance in the Europa League with a defeat in an away match against the Czech "Slavia".

"Dnipro-1" began the European Cup campaign in the Champions League, where could not resist before the Greek "Panathinaikos". So the black-and-yellows were eliminated from the Europa League, where in the third round of qualification they were defeated by the Czech Slavia, the vice-champion of their country. The starting match of the confrontation took place in Prague.

The first half was dominated by the home team. "Slavia" quickly took the lead - Schrantz blocked Masopust's cross from the right wing. The Czechs continued to put pressure on the goal of Kinareykin, who, in particular, made a save in the 36th minute after Lingra's shot from the penalty area. However, just a moment after the corner kick, Schrantz scored a double.

Slavia actively started the second half and even scored again, but the referees canceled Yurechka's goal due to offside. In the 58th minute, the hosts remained in the minority after a rough foul by Ogbu, but the Ukrainians did not take advantage of this situation.

Moreover, in the minority, the Czechs managed to score for the third time - shortly after coming on as a substitute, Wallem took advantage of a mistake by the Dnipro native during the standard. Only after that, the guests responded with an inaccurate attempt by Lednev from a distance and a header into the plane by Kivinda. In the end, "Slavia" won - 3:0.

Dnipro-1 players, who were on the roster for the June matches of the national team of Ukraine, took part in the match — Svatok (yellow card, substituted in the 46th minute) and Pikhalyonok (substituted in the 61st minute).
