"Dnipro-1" in Košice lost to Trnava "Spartak" in extra time in the return match of the playoff round of the Conference League.

After a draw in the first match in Trnava (1:1), the chances of both teams to enter the Conference League were equal, because the Ukrainians played the second match only at their nominal home stadium.

However, already in the 3rd minute, these chances increased significantly for the Slovaks, who scored a quick ball. After a corner kick by the Dnipro team, the opponent ran into a counterattack, and Eric Daniel hit the ball well from the penalty area.

In the first half, Valery Horodov's wards had absolutely nothing going forward, but the visitors could have scored more. However, this time the Ukrainians were saved by the post of the goal after a shot by the same Daniel.

After the break, "Dnipro-1" became more active, but again did not reach dangerous moments. Only then did the Slovaks themselves come to help. After Gorbunov's cross into the opponent's penalty area, Horosito headed the ball into his own goal. 1:1.

Until the end of regular time, the teams exchanged dangerous shots, but could not change the score. The game went into overtime, at the beginning of which Babenko received a red card for a rough foul.

In the 106th minute Bukat, after a cross into the penalty area, pushed the ball into Kinareykin's goal from Dnipro, and a minute later Horin also went to the locker room due to a second yellow card. Being left with five, the Ukrainians tried to play back, which was very difficult.
