Futsal Champions League. "HIT" started in the elite round with a dramatic defeat

Kyiv "HIT" began its performance in the elite round of the futsal Champions League with a match against the Polish "Lyubava".

Overcoming main round, the champion of Ukraine made it to the elite, where 16 clubs were divided into four groups with four participants in each. By the will of the draw "HIT" found himself in group D together with Spanish "Palma" (host), Croatian "Olmissum" and Polish "Lyuba". The winners of each of the four quartets of the elite round will advance to the final stage, which will take place in May 2024.

In the opening game against "Lyubava" Kyiv had a noticeable advantage in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Zhuk brought our team ahead when he used a pass from Syroi and found himself in front of the goalkeeper. Soon the Poles fought back - Pedro Silva shot between Sukhov's legs. After that, the Ukrainians hit the goal frame several times, until in the 17th minute Abakshin scored after Sheremety's pass from the outside.

In the opening of the second half, the lead of "HIT" was increased by Siryi, who made a cannon shot from a distance after a pass from Ponochevny from a corner. "Lyubava" seized the initiative, responded with several dangerous attacks, but the Poles were unable to break through Sukhov. Instead, in the 33rd minute, Zhurba launched Abakshin in a counterattack, and he scored a double.

At the end of the match, the coach of "Lyubava" used the fifth field player, which bore fruit - Rashkovsky and Kanevsky reduced the gap to a minimum. Then Claudinho and Pedro Silvi managed to score, so the Poles turned the tide of the game in two minutes.

Having moved away from the shot, "HIT" managed to equalize the score - after an interception, Chernyavsky shot from Ponochevny's pass without a chance for the goalkeeper. However, in the last minute of the meeting, Kanevsky scored for the second time and brought victory to "Lyubava" - 6:5.

Oleh Lukyanenko's wards will play their next match against the Croatian "Olmissum" on November 30 (starting at 17:00 Kyiv time).
