Futsal World Cup 2024: the draw for the final tournament is scheduled for May 26

The Football Federation of Uzbekistan announced that the draw for the final tournament of the 2024 Futsal World Cup, which will take place in this Asian country from September 14 to October 6, is scheduled for May 26. The ceremony will be held on the main square of the city of Samarkand — Registani. We will remind, among those who have already received tickets to the forum, there is also the national team of Ukraine. 

Our team issued a license in December of last year after the victory over Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Oleksandr Kosenko's wards took first place in their group and received a direct ticket to the World Cup. Together with Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain and Portugal won tickets from Europe. Two more lucky winners were decided the other day, after the play-off matches in which the Netherlands defeated Finland, and Croatia defeated Poland. All participants of the final tournament will be known by April 28, after the completion of the regional qualifying competitions.

Europe — 7 teams (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, the Netherlands).

South America — 4 teams (Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Paraguay).

Zone CONCACAF — 4 vouchers (Costa Rica, Cuba, Panama, Guatemala).

Asia — 4 teams (owners will be determined on April 28).

Africa — 3 vouchers (owners will be determined by April 21).

Oceania — 1 team (New Zealand).
