The match in Dnipro (group "B") aroused the greatest interest in the next round of the second league championship of Ukraine. And although the rivals (primarily due to penalties against Dnipro) shared as many as 29 points, still in the derby - their laws.

No one feels sorry for themselves, everyone tries to demonstrate the best qualities. Suffice it to say that Dnipro-1 suffered one of its defeats in a confrontation with unyielding compatriots. And this time the game dynamics was at a high level.

The young players of Dnipro decided to act as the second number, deliberately giving the territory to a more experienced opponent, who attacked a lot with flanks, forcing the goalkeeper of the hosts Oleksiy Bashtanenko to often show his skills on the second floor. But although the game advantage of "Dnipro-1" was not in doubt, the first sharp moment arose at the gates of the guests. Ivan Mykhaylenko hit the target, the ball hit the hand of Alexander Snizhko, but the referee decided that this violation does not deserve a penalty.

And immediately after the break, Dnipro-1 players came forward. After a corner, Serhiy Loginov threw the ball with his head into the center of the goal area, where Yaroslav Poplavka was the most skilful, forcing Oleksiy Bashtanenko to capitulate. 0: 1. After the substitutions made by Dnipro manager Oleksandr Poklonskyi, the game leveled off, and Volodymyr Kyrychuk was already close to restoring the status quo, but he shot over the crossbar at close range. But soon he corrected the sight and also after giving a corner in one touch adjusted the flight of the ball in the far lower corner. 1: 1.

The author of the goal did not hide his joy, as happens in such cases, dropped his T-shirt and was immediately punished with a warning. Since he already had a yellow card in his liabilities, he was forced to leave the field due to withdrawal. And instead of being one of the heroes of the fight, he became an antihero. Because the guests quickly realized the "extra": the manager of "Dnipro-1" Dmytro Mykhaylenko immediately released two fresh strikers on the field, and shortly after the submission of the next corner Vladislav Supryaga scored a spectacular goal in the fall. 1: 2.

"Dnipro-1" in the presence of 5300 fans won an important victory, tied the score in face-to-face battles with compatriots and did not allow to approach the main pursuer, "Metalist 1925", which predictably defeated the outsider - "Metallurg".

And in group "A" one of the leaders, "Prykarpattia", went to a match with the team "Arsenal-Kyiv region" without his injured scorer Igor Khudobyak, which immediately had a negative impact on the attacking potential of Ivano-Frankivsk. And it is difficult to say whether the Prykarpattia team would have managed to tilt the scales to their side if their leader Volodymyr Kovalyuk had not guessed with the substitution: Roman Kuzmin hit the target with his first touch to the ball! And at the end of the match Roman Ditko in a similar situation set the final score - 2: 0.

In the second match in a row, Bohdan Stepanenko from Chernivtsi "Bukovyna" kept his goal intact. Among other things, on April 13 he celebrated his 22nd birthday and really wanted to make himself a gift in a match with Ternopil's Niva, the colors of which, by the way, he defended last year. The pupil of Kyiv football succeeded: Bohdan acted without mistakes and helped his new team to celebrate the first victory in the second part of the season.

But Serhiy Zadorozhny's wards slowed down sharply, suffering the fourth defeat in a row, and significantly worsened their chances in the fight for third place in Group A. As for the favorites, Agrobusiness, which hosted Skala in Khmelnytsky in the next round due to the reconstruction of the stadium in Volochysk, and Prykarpattia can already safely warm up the team with a view to performances in the first division.
