Gennady Prokopovich: “FFU international partners are waiting for answers on Yarmolenko scandalous transfer”

So far, in the situation surrounding the scandalous transfer of ex-football player of FC Dynamo (Kyiv) Andriy Yarmolenko to German FC Borussia (Dortmund), there are more questions than answers.

The sports school that raised the player from Chernihiv never received a solidarity payment, while the conflict in this situation is reaching the international level. The head of the Chernihiv regional football federation, the director of SDYUSHOR "Youth" Gennady Prokopovich told about it to the site ffu.ua.

"UEFA is also following developments. The situation, in my opinion, is annoying. It puts the whole of Ukrainian football under attack in the eyes of the international community, "said Hennadiy Volodymyrovych.

He reminded that the police opened a criminal case on the fact of possible fraud, as a result of which the payment of solidarity from FC Dynamo (Kyiv) did not go to the accounts of the school that trained Yarmolenko, but to the accounts of an unknown public organization with a similar name. a sports institution where a football player was actually brought up.

"We are talking about the misappropriation of 150 thousand euros in this way. These are the funds that were to be directed to the needs of the pupils of the specialized children's and youth school of the Olympic football reserve "Youth" of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, "said Hennadiy Prokopovych.
 
FFU, for its part, provides the investigation with all the requested information, so there is hope for a speedy completion of the pre-trial investigation.

"I believe that it is a matter of honor for our law enforcement officers to return to children the funds that were misappropriated by fraudsters. Also bringing this case to court is fundamentally important from the point of view of the international image of Ukrainian football. If UEFA and FIFA do not receive explanations and evidence, no one will want to deal with Ukrainian FC anymore. This cannot be allowed under any circumstances, "the head of the Chernihiv federation stressed.

It will be recalled that the Yunost school was to receive a solidarity payment of approximately 286 euros from Dynamo Kyiv football club for the transfer of football player Andriy Yarmolenko to Borussia Dortmund. However, for unknown reasons, part of this solidarity payment in the amount of 150 thousand euros by the football club "Dynamo" (Kyiv) on January 16, 2018 was unjustifiably transferred to the non-profit public organization "Chernihiv Regional Football Club" Youth ".

NGO "Youth" was formed only in 2015 and, accordingly, a priori could not raise a footballer.

At the same time, according to the investigation, on December 20, 2017, an agreement was concluded between FC Dynamo (Kyiv), the Cypriot company Dynamo Kyiv LTD and the NGO CHOFK Yunost on the transfer of EUR 150 to the public organization's accounts.
