Futsal Student National Team of Ukraine - in the finals of the World Cup!

The Futsal Ukraine women's national team won the French team in the semi-final match of the World Cup and reached the finals of the tournament. The men's team will play in the match for 3rd place. 

Ukraine's women's futsal team has become a finalist at the World Student Championship in Kazakhstan. In the semifinals, the Ukrainians defeated the French in a penalty shootout - 1: 2 and are now vying for the gold of the tournament. 

The first half was unsuccessful for our team. All attempts of Oleg Shaitanov's wards to open the account turned out to be futile, but the rivals succeeded. In the 12th minute, Manon Ryba successfully finished the draw - 0: 1.

The Ukrainians managed to overcome the strong defense of the French national team only in the second half of the game. In the 30th minute Iryna Dubytska equalized the score with a powerful shot - 1: 1. The spectators did not see the goals during the game time.

The fate of the pass to the final was determined in a series of penalties. Dubytska, Dudarchuk and Sydorenko confidently carried out their attempts, but the French - only one. So, the national team of Ukraine is advancing to the final.

Russia will compete against our team in the decisive match.

But the men's student team of Ukraine from the futsal could not make it to the finals. In a tense semi-final, our guys lost to the Russian team with a score of 2: 4. 

Now our team is expecting a duel for third place with the Portuguese national team on Sunday.
