U-16: Ukraine's national team draws against Lithuanian team at the Development Cup

This result in the match with the Balts did not allow the team of Alexander Petrakov to rise above the fourth place in his group. 

In the last round of the group round of the international tournament "Development Cup", which takes place in Minsk, the youth national team of Ukraine U-16, in order not to take the last place in the quartet, had to beat the Lithuanian team U-17. 

And I must say that in the first 40 minutes, the wards of Alexander Petrakov looked good. The Blue and Yellows opened the scoring in the 5th minute (Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Denis Shostak scored a well-pressed shot) and pressed the opponent well, not allowing him to breathe calmly. And only in the middle of the half, when the Ukrainians decided to take a break in the offensive, the Lithuanians became more active, and almost their first meaningful attack ended with the goal. 1: 1.

The second half passed in an approximately equal struggle. Unless the blue-and-yellows tried to snatch victory under the curtain of the match, but individual mistakes in simple situations did not allow to storm the goal of the Lithuanian national team.

This draw left the Ukrainians in fourth place in their quartet. Now Oleksandr Petrakov's wards will take part in the 9-12th place matches. Their closest opponent will be determined a little later, when the matches in other groups are over.
