U-16: At the Development Cup in Minsk the youth team of Ukraine defeated the Lithuanian team
In the 11th place Development Cup, Oleksandr Petrakov's team proved to be stronger than the Lithuanians in the penalty shootout.
On the last day of the international tournament in Minsk, the youth national team of Ukraine U-16 met with the team of Lithuania U-17 in a match for 11th place. Like the group stage, in 80 minutes the rivals did not find the winner. This time a draw was recorded - 0: 0.
Everything was decided in a series of 11-meter, which was better performed by Ukrainians. Ursulov, Mampassi and Matyushenko excelled in the blue-yellow team. And the real hero was Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Timur Puzankov, who did not allow himself to be beaten three times. As a result, the national team of Ukraine won - 3: 1.
