The regional stage of the Trust Cup tournament will be held in Kiev
The regional stage of the first in Ukraine children's football tournament "Trust Cup" and a match between the teams of the National Police of Ukraine and employees of the Football Federation of Ukraine will take place in Kyiv.
On Sunday, March 17, Kyiv will host the regional stage of Ukraine's first children's football tournament "Trust Cup", organized with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Football Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, the National Police of Ukraine, the Football Federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education. and Science of Ukraine.
14 mixed teams from the capital and Kyiv region, trained for several months under the guidance of police officers (juvenile prevention inspectors and patrol police), will compete for the right to reach the final, which will take place on March 24.

Program of activities:
10.00—13.00. Competitions of mixed children's teams.
14.00—14.50. Competitions of mixed children's teams (1/4).
15.00—15.30. Friendly match between the team of the National Police of Ukraine and the team of employees of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
15.30—16.00. The final match and the fight for third place among mixed children's teams.
16.00—16.30. Ceremony of awarding the participants and the winner of the regional stage of the tournament "Trust Cup".

Certificate: The Football Development of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Football Federation of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is implementing the Trust Cup social project.
The purpose of the project: to establish trust between children and law enforcement officials through sports, including football, as well as to promote social cohesion of children, providing meaningful leisure, which in turn will contribute to prevention.
The project is based on the concept of "Sport for Development", a global initiative of UNICEF, which is implemented worldwide and aims not to win but to develop, teamwork, building trust and mutual respect, fostering the values necessary for children to successfully implement its potential.
In November 2018, 38 police officers and cadets from Kyiv and the region underwent specialized training on the implementation of the latest concept "Sport for Development". After the training, the police formed mixed children's teams aged 13-14 and trained with them.
17 children's teams will take part in the regional stage on March 14. The final of the tournament will take place on March 24 in the capital. In addition to the winner of the regional stage among the teams of Kyiv and the region, the winners of the regional stages of Lviv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions will compete for the "Trust Cup".
