Portuguese Sporting wins Futsal Premiership

The Portuguese team on the fourth attempt has won the most prestigious competition of the continent.

The Final of the four debut draw of the Futsal Champions League took place in the Kazakh city of Almaty. In the semifinals, local "Kairat" beat "Barcelona" (5: 2), and "Sporting" defeated "Inter Movistar" (5: 3).

In the match for the third place there was a duel of two Spanish teams. Last year's winner of the UEFA Cup "Inter" Movistar lost to "Barcelona" with a score of 1: 3. In the final match, Sporting proved to be stronger, upsetting Kairat - 2: 1.

For the first time in history, Lisbon became the club champions of Europe. Previously, the team has lost three times in the UEFA Cup final, including in the last two seasons.

We will remind that the champion of Ukraine - "Prodexim" also took part in tournament. Kherson could not overcome the group stage of path A, after finishing the last step in the quartet.
