Oleg Ocheretko: “Satisfied with first place elite round”

Midfielder of the youth team of Ukraine U-17 Oleg Ocheretko shared his impressions of the games in the qualifying round of the European Championship against Georgia (2: 0), Albania (2: 0) and Portugal (0: 0), after which the blue and yellow went to the elite round.

- We are satisfied with the result, we left the group from the first place, having fulfilled our main task. We are glad that we scored seven points, and our main competitors, the Portuguese - five. It is good that the coaches were also satisfied with our performance.

We played these games in our own game. Won two wins and a draw. Wanted to win the third game to get maximum points, but it did not work. However, we are still satisfied, moving on.

In my opinion, the hardest game was against the Portuguese. They are individually very strong players, it was difficult for us. And in general, there are no weak teams in Europe. The same Albanians й Georgians also demonstrated a good game.
