Officially. CAS upheld the decision of UAF
Today the Sports Arbitration Court of Lausanne announced the decision on the appeal of former football players of FC Olimpik Donetsk youth teams Nazar Yedynak, Artem Kozlov, Vadym Schastlyvtsev, Luka Nadiradze and Bohdan Stepanenko.
It should be reminded that on June 6, 2019 UAF on the results of consideration of the case on manipulation of matches results made a decision prohibiting the teams U-19 and U-21 of Olimpik Donetsk from participating in youth competitions and removing the aforementioned players from any activities related to football for a period of two years.
Olimpik Donetsk and five of the six punished players appealed against the decision to CAS, but before the trial on the merits club withdrew from the process.
In accordance with the CAS decision, the players were completely denied the appeal, and UAF decision was upheld.
