U-19: new terms and format of Euro-2021 qualification for Ukraine

UEFA has adjusted the qualification scheme for the 2021 European Youth Championship, where the Ukrainian team U-19 (players born in 2002) will also play. 

During the draw, the teams were divided into 13 groups of four each. Volodymyr Yezersky's wards are in Group 2, where they will play together with Israel (host), Belarus and Montenegro.

The qualifying round by UEFA will now be held in March 2021. The elite round has been replaced by head-to-head matches in May. The best teams of 13 groups and seeded Portugal will play in the playoffs. The final part will take place on schedule - from June 30 to July 13, 2021 in Romania. In addition to the hosts, seven playoff winners will perform at the forum.

Group 2: Ukraine, Israel, Belarus, Montenegro.

Group 3: Austria, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar.

Group 5: Czech Republic, Denmark, Northern Macedonia, Albania.

Group 6: Croatia, Georgia, Latvia, Kazakhstan.

Group 7: Ireland, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia.

Group 8: France, Greece, Azerbaijan, Moldova.

Group 9: Norway, Hungary, Iceland, Andorra.

Group 10: England, Slovenia, Wales, Malta.

Group 11: Netherlands, Serbia, Armenia, San Marino. 

Group 12: Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, Lithuania.

Group 13: Spain, Belgium, Finland, Faroe Islands.
