Volodymyr Yezersky: "We will hold sparring matches against teams that also have potential players of our national team"
The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 Volodymyr Yezersky is sure that the upcoming team will be very useful for the formation of the young team.
On September 4, the training session of the youth national team of Ukraine (football players not older than 2007) began, which will hold four sparring matches. All of them will be held at the NTK named after V. Bannikova.
At the start of the meeting, the head coach of the team, Volodymyr Yezersky, shared his plans for future work.
"This collection, once again, will be informative," said Volodymyr Ivanovych. — We invited a small group of football players from foreign clubs. But after the recent shelling of Kyiv, some parents did not allow their children to enter Ukraine. Therefore, substitutions were made, boys from the reserve list were called.
Unfortunately, DUFL is not fully functional yet, but there are regional tournaments, and it is thanks to them that we try to conduct the current selection.
It is interesting that we will play control matches at this meeting against teams that also have potential players of our national team. There will be an opportunity to observe them as well.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the UAF for organizing such a gathering. I am sure that this work will be very useful for the formation of a young team.
