In 2021, the French national team will take part in the qualification for the 2022 World Cup, the final part of Euro 2020 and the final of the four League of Nations 2020-2021.

By the will of the draw, Didier Deschamps' wards entered Group D of the European Qualification for the 2022 World Cup together with Ukraine, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kazakhstan.
