The national futsal team of Ukraine held the first match of the group qualifying round of Euro-2022, in which they confidently defeated Albania in away game.
Match of the first round in group 1 Ukraine - Denmark were canceled and subsequently, by decision of UEFA, postponed to April 8. So during the January training camp, our guys had to focus all their attention on the upcoming meeting with Albania on the road.
The Blue and Yellows opened the scoring in the 1st minute - Zvarych scored exactly after Shoturma's pass from the corner. The Albanians responded with two dangerous attacks, but Meizini and A. Brahimi lacked accuracy. In the 6th minute, Shoturma increased the advantage of our team as a result of a breakthrough on the right flank and a shot between the legs of the goalkeeper.
Ukrainians continued to harass Da Silva, who made several saves. In the 9th minute Meizini managed to reduce the gap of the hosts - his shot from a sharp angle Tsypun could not parry. Later, the teams exchanged goals: Bila Tserkva scored after a transfer from Shoturma, and A. Brahimi closed the shot on the right.
By the end of the first half, the Ukrainians managed to change the slippery score to a significant advantage. In the 14th minute, Da Silva repulsed Shoturma's shot, but Zvarych managed to finish it off and scored a double. And shortly before the break Farenyuk came under attack from a partner and sent the ball into the net. Therefore, the team went on vacation with a score of 5: 2 in favor of the wards of Alexander Kosenko.
In the first half, the blue and yellows controlled the ball more. Opponents played on counterattacks, and in the second half of the meeting tried the tactics of five fielders. However, the advantage of the guests only continued to increase.
At the beginning of the second half, Hrytsyn scored a beautiful goal, finishing the combination of the national team of Ukraine with the fifth. Soon Farenyuk caught the opponent by mistake while playing five outfields and sent the ball into the empty net. And then the guests scored eighth - Zvarych scored a hat-trick after a face-to-face with the goalkeeper.
In the 34th minute, the Albanians scored after a counterattack, to which the Ukrainians responded with another successful standard, which was successfully completed by Eremin. And in the 40th minute Malyshko upset the opponents for the tenth time, sending the ball into the empty net from his own half of the field with a great shot. So in the end 10: 3 - a convincing victory of our team at the start of the selection.
