Officially. Decision of the UEFA Executive Committee on the replacement of Euro 2020 cities and tickets for the tournament match

The UEFA Executive Committee held today meeting in the format of a video conference, according to the official website of the organization.

During the meeting, confirmation was received from the Munich authorities that all four Euro 2020 matches will be held in this city with at least 14 spectators. As a result, Munich was confirmed as one of the hosts of the European Championship.

The executive committee then redistributed some Euro 2020 matches as follows:

the four matches originally planned for Bilbao have been moved to Sevilla at the Estadio La Cartuja. The organization of these matches was supported by the authorities of the Autonomous Region of Andalusia. 1 matches of Group E and one match of the 8/30 finals will be attended by XNUMX% of fans from the total capacity of the stadium;

the three Group E matches that were to take place in Dublin were moved to St. Petersburg, which initially won three Group B matches and one quarterfinal;

the match of the 1/8 finals, which was to be hosted by Dublin, was postponed to London's Wembley.

UEFA President Alexander Cheferin:

"We work closely with associations and local authorities to ensure a safe and festive atmosphere at matches. I am very happy that we will be able to receive fans at all matches of the tournament and enjoy the football holiday at the level of national teams all over Europe. "

Information for ticket holders

All tickets for the match in Bilbao and Dublin have been canceled. Their owners will receive compensation in full.

More information on ticket sales for matches transferred to London, St. Petersburg and Seville can be found at EURO2020.com/tickets. All ticket holders will be sent an email with the relevant information.

It is important that fans who have previously purchased tickets for the matches in Bilbao and Dublin will have priority access to purchase tickets for the relevant postponed matches in a live queue. For tickets purchased through national associations, the rules of the respective associations and their fan organizations will apply.

Fans are asked to carefully study the restrictions and requirements when crossing borders. Detailed information can be found in the official guide at EURO2020.com and in the mobile application Euro 2020, which also lists measures to protect against COVID-19 in stadiums and information for guests of each city.

Ticket packages "Follow my Team"

Due to the fact that the venues of most of the playoff matches with specific teams will not be known until the end of the group round, and against the background of significant restrictions on travel, UEFA has decided to cancel all tickets package "Together with the team" (Follow my Team). ), returning the money to their owners.

It is important that the quota of tickets from the "Together with the team" package for the playoffs will remain fixed for the fans of the teams that reached the playoffs. This will give them the opportunity to buy tickets at a later stage (according to the rules of the relevant fan organizations), if their teams qualify for the playoffs, and they themselves will be able to arrive at the stadium in such a short time.

The so-called "super league"

In addition, the UEFA Executive Committee has reviewed the latest information regarding the so-called "super league", including possible steps that UEFA intends to take.
