On Wednesday, May 26, Ruslan Rotan's wards will play their first match at the Valery Lobanovsky Tournament.

This morning the youth national team of Ukraine gathered near the Football House in Kyiv. First of all, the team, coaching staff and staff passed tests for coronavirus. Fortunately, all the results were negative.

Again, there were changes. Yesterday Valmiera midfielder Ivan Zhelizko suffered a knee injury in the Latvian championship match. And the striker of "Movement" Nikolay Kukharevich didn't manage to recover completely after the injury received in April. The midfielder of the same Rukh, Ivan Lytvynenko, was called up to the national team. Thus, 22 football players started working.

The first training session was engaging but emotional and ended with a three-team tournament. The winners were determined by a series of penalties, the hero of which was the goalkeeper Nikita Turbayevsky, who hit the decisive 11-meter. And the best sniper was Vladislav Vanat. Tomorrow the team will have a theoretical lesson and pre-game training, and on the 26th they will start at the Valery Lobanovsky Tournament.
