The Ukrainian national cyber football team in the FIFA discipline will take part in the main qualifying round of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.
Beginning in December 2021, Ukrainian cyber football players competed in the first round of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022, but due to Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine, they were forced to stop competing.
The main qualifying round of the World Cyber Football Championship starts on May 16, and this week the national team of Ukraine got to know the rivals at this stage of the competition. The blue and yellows will face the national teams of Portugal, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Serbia and Austria.
Due to the fact that the Ukrainian eCup 2022 tournament scheduled for April, which was to become a qualifier for the new national team with FIFA, did not take place, the team remains unchanged: players Andriy CIG_STEPOVER Shakalov, Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98 Gurmak and Oleksiy Forlan and manager Shustenko.
The game series will take place on May 19-21. Match format - "2 vs 2". The match schedule will be announced later.
The FIFA World Cup, which will feature the 24 best cyber football teams, will take place from 27 to 30 July in Denmark. Prize fund of competitions - $ 400 thousand.
