Shakhtar and Dynamo with the participation of players of the national team of Ukraine held regular charity matches in support of the country
The grands of the Ukrainian Vbet League, Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv continue their charity tours, during which they hold friendly matches with European clubs. The main purpose of these measures is to raise funds for humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people who are suffering as a result of the Russian invasion.
After two matches in Turkey, Shakhtar Donetsk today held another charity match as part of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace in Ukraine, this time in Croatia, at the Polyud Stadium. Gaiduk from Split became the opponent of Roberto De Derby's team.
Before the game, the miners came out on the field in T-shirts with the inscription Azovstal! Save Mariupol! This call was addressed to the whole world to draw attention to the terrible situation created by the aggressor's troops in Mariupol.
The match itself ended in a draw with a score of 3: 3. Dmytro Topalov, Petro Stasiuk and Andriy Boryachuk scored in the orange and black balls. The match was attended by players who got calls for the next meeting of the national team: Andriy Pyatov, Anatoliy Trubin, Mykola Matvienko, Valery Bondar, Viktor Kornienko, Yukhym Konoplya, Taras Stepanenko and Mykhailo Mudryk, who, unfortunately, was injured in the 7th minute of the match.
After this match, Shakhtar's national teams will join the national team.
