The women's beach soccer team of Ukraine defeated the strongest team in the world
Today, the women's beach soccer team of Ukraine played the second match in the selection for the 2023 World Beach Games.
After the defeat in the first match against the Swiss national team (3:5) in the second ward, Yury Klymenko was the strongest in the exam by rating the world team is Spain.
Our girls spent the first period perfectly. And they just had to open the scoring when Andrea saw a red card in front of her for a foul on Iryna Dubytskyi. Unfortunately, Dubytska missed a free kick from close range.
But in the second period, the Ukrainian women took the lead. Yuliya Kostyuk successfully put the ball into the goal after Anastasia Terek's cross. The Spaniards won three minutes before the half-time whistle. Maria Carbacho converted a free kick from a long distance — 1:1.
In the third 12-minute period, the Ukrainian national team had a great opportunity to score the second goal, but Yuliya Dekhtyar could not convert the penalty. But, despite this, our girls still managed to break through the opponents' defense. Myroslava Vypasniak implemented the standard and brought our team a sensational victory — 2:1.
