Vbet Extra-League: the dates and conditions of the Futsal Championship of Ukraine have been determined

There was a meeting of heads of clubs Vbet The Extra-League, which was held under the chairmanship of AFU President Serhii Vladyk and Vice-President Volodymyr Hrymail, reports the Futsal Association of Ukraine press-service reports..

Ten managers of ten participating teams of the upcoming season took part in the meeting: "HIT" (Kyiv), "Energia" (Lviv), "in.IT" (Lviv), "Uragan" (Ivano-Frankivsk), "Cardinal-Rivne" " (Rivne), "Sokil" (Khmelnytskyi), "Kharkiv" Moscow Sports Complex (Kharkiv), "Ryaatvesnik" (Romny), as well as the joint team "Aurora-KLAST" (Kyiv) and the newcomer "SkyUp Futsal" (Kyiv) . Unfortunately, "Cherkasioblenergo" from Cherkasy will not make it to the start of the new season.

During the meeting, the terms of the teams' participation in the new season were agreed upon, as well as the format and conditions of the clubs' interaction with the AFU and the title partner of the league — the international company Vbet. Thus, the main men's division of Ukrainian futsal in the new season, as well as in the past, will be called "Vbet Extra League". The participants also agreed on the previously discussed format and draw system: three rounds of the regular championship and a playoff stage for the eight best teams.

The new season will start on August 17 with a match for the Super Cup of Ukraine, in which they will play champion of Ukraine "HIT" (Kyiv) and ruler Cup of Ukraine "Cardinal-Rivne" (Rivne). The city in which the match for the Super Cup of Ukraine will take place will be known after the corresponding tender.

The base date of the first round of the new championship is August 26.

The basic date of the end of the regular season is April 22.

The base date for the start of the playoff stage is May 3.

The quarter-final stage of the play-offs will last until two victories of one of the teams. The semi-final and final stages of the playoffs will last until three victories of one of the teams. Likewise, the series for third place will continue until three victories of one of the teams. If there is a need to hold five matches of the series for the championship, then the decisive game will be played on June 22.

As for the Cup of Ukraine, the "Final of Four" returns instead of the "Final of Eight" in the new draw. The Vbet Extra League clubs will start the fight for the Cup of Ukraine from the 1/8 final stage (the base date of the first matches is February 7). The preliminary and qualifying rounds of the tournament will be played before this stage. The "Final Four" itself will be played at the end of April.

The draw for the calendar of the new championship is scheduled for July 26.
