Poltava "Vorskla" again failed to overcome the second round of the Conference League qualification and ended the European cup season.

A week ago, Viktor Skrypnyk's wards won a victory over "Dila" in the Polish city of Tychy — 2:1. Now "Vorskla" went on a trip to the Georgian city of Gori.

The first half was dominated by "Dila", although, apart from a few half-moments, both teams could not boast of anything. However, the home team's attacks were sharper, and in the 45th minute they took the lead: Isenko made an unsuccessful play on the way out, Santos overthrew him, who aimed at the crossbar, and Parulava managed to finish. Before the break, "Vorskla" managed to respond with an inaccurate shot by Chesnakov from a long distance.

The beginning of the second half remained for the Poltava players, we can remember Kane's shot next to the post. However, over time, the initiative passed to "Dila", which resulted in a dangerous shot by Gale and a save by Isenko after a cut from Batsula. And in the end, the home team scored for the second time in the 71st minute — Kovtalyuk made a one-on-one move after Gale's pass from deep. By the way, the Ukrainian forward of "Dyla" excelled in the first match as well.

In the 74th minute, "Vorskla" returned the status quo in the duel, when Stepaniuk, after a pass from Batsula and a struggle from Nesterenko, broke into the penalty area and dealt with the goalkeeper. Unfortunately, at the end of regular time, the Georgians scored again when Gale got ahead of Perduta and headed the ball past Isenko after Dzotsenidze's throw-in from his own half.

Therefore, "Vorskla" concedes away with a score of 1:3 and leaves the European Cups. It should be noted that for the third season in a row, the White-Greens are eliminated in the second round of the Conference League qualification.
