WU-19: the opponents of the youth women's national team of Ukraine in the second round of Euro-2024 selection have been determined

Today, December 8, the draw of the second round of the European Championship-2023/2024 (WU-19) selection took place, which determined the composition of the groups of both leagues.

The second qualifying round will determine the seven national teams that will join Lithuania in the final stage of the U19 European Championship for Girls, as well as the teams that will move from one league to another. The seeding during the second round draw was determined by the positions that the national teams were seeded in the first round in the fall.

In League A, 28 teams will play in seven groups, including seven national teams that were promoted from League B following the results of the first round. The seven group winners of League A in the second round will qualify for the final stage, which will be played from July 15 to July 27, 2024. The fourth-placed teams in the groups will start the first round of the 2024/2025 season in League B.

23 teams in League B, including those relegated from League A after the autumn stage, will compete in six groups (five with four participants, one with three) for tickets to League A in the first round of the next draw. Lithuania will also play in League B, although they are guaranteed a place in the final as hosts.

We will remind, the youth women's national team of Ukraine took the first step in its group B4 of the first round and will play in League A in the spring of 2024. According to the results of the draw, Natalia Ignatovych's wards got into group A4, where they will play against France, the Czech Republic and Norway.
