DUFLU-2024 Cup among U-16 teams: Lviv "Rukh" became the winner of the tournament

Today, March 16, the winner of the Winter Cup of the Children's and Youth Football League of Ukraine among the U-16 teams was determined. In the final match on one of the fields of the "Dynamo" educational and training base in Vyta-Litovsk, "Rukh" defeated "Dynamo" with a score of 2:1 and won the trophy.

At the start of the tournament, which the participants considered as preparation for the second round of competition in the DUFLU championship, 42 teams took part.

The tournament was organized in several stages. After the group round, the best participants continued the fight already according to the cup system in the elimination matches. As a result, Kyiv "Dynamo" and Lviv "Rukh" reached the finals of the competition.

The duel turned out to be very interesting and uncompromising, as a real final should be. The first half ended with the score 2:0 in favor of "Rukh", and it seemed that "Dynamo" was already out of the game. But the young Kyivans found their strength and at the end of the match managed to win back one ball, renewing the intrigue. However, the final assault on the opponent's goal did not benefit Dynamo. So, 2:1 in favor of "Rukh", and for the first time the winter trophy goes to Lviv.

The best players of the final match were recognized as follows: Ivan Andreyka from Dynamo, Muhamad Jurabayev from Rukh.
