WU-16: the first match of the girls' national team of Ukraine at the UEFA Development Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina was postponed to April 18 due to bad weather

The starting matches were postponed due to heavy snowfall The UEFA development tournament among WU-16 national teams, which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina until April 22. The renewed composition of the girls' national team of Ukraine of this age category (born in 2008-2009), which will take part in the tournament, held a short-term training session in Lviv before it.

Rivals of the Ukrainian women will be peers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Slovenia. Each team will play three matches. Three points will be awarded for a win, and in case of a tie, a series of post-match penalties will be held, the winner of which will receive two points, and the unlucky team will receive one point.

"For the vast majority of girls, this will be their first international experience. The same can be said about our rivals. It is important that, according to the rules of the competition, each of the announced football players must spend at least 90 minutes on the field after the results of three matches. So everyone will have the necessary game practice, and the coaches will have an opportunity to see what their wards are worth." — said the day before head coach of the girls' national team of Ukraine, Serhii Sapronov.

Today, the blue-and-yellow team had to play their first match — against their peers from Slovenia. However, due to adverse weather conditions, the game has been postponed to tomorrow, April 18. The meeting starts at 15:00 Kyiv time. The game between Ukraine and North Macedonia has also been postponed for one day.
