WU-16: the Ukrainian women's national team beat the Slovenian team at the UEFA Development Tournament
The women's national team of Ukraine WU-16 started at the UEFA Development Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a victory over their peers from Slovenia.
The renewed composition of the girls' national team of Ukraine of this age category (born in 2008-2009) held a short-term training camp in Lviv, after which it went to the town of Hadzhichi in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the UEFA Development Tournament.
Rivals of Ukrainian women became housewives, as well as peers from North Macedonia and Slovenia. Each team will play three matches. Three points will be awarded for a win, and in case of a tie, a series of post-match penalties will be held, the winner of which will receive two points, and the unlucky team will receive one point.

The starting game of the blue and yellow team, with Slovenia, was postponed on April 18 due to adverse weather conditions. In today's match, at the end of the first half, the teams exchanged goals — Karina Lespukh scored as part of the Ukrainian national team.
In the second half of the meeting, Milena Ivanchenko again put our team ahead with a penalty, and Lespuh scored a double in stoppage time. After that, Anna Kharchenko also parried the 11-meter Slovenian.

As a result, Serhii Sapronov's wards won with a score of 3:1. Our girls will play their next game against the North Macedonia team on April 20.
