The Ukrainian women's national team did not stand before the Danish team in the 2019 World Cup qualification

The Ukrainian women's national team was defeated in the home match of the 2019 World Cup selection by the Danish team.

Volodymyr Reva put on this game the strongest team that the coach had at his disposal at the moment. The blue-and-yellow winger Tetyana Romanenko returned to the start, who healed her injuries and strengthened our team on the eve of important qualifying matches. Denmark responded in a similar way: the entry into the Arena Lviv field, which included European football stars Pernill Harder, Nadia Nadim and Sanne Troelsgord, clearly demonstrated that the guests came to the city of Lviv only after the victory.

The first moments of the match were for the Ukrainian team, the hosts tried to quickly play the ball and transfer it to the flanks, where Ovdiychuk and Romanenko moved effectively. But the first standard in our half of the field led to the goal: Harder made a canopy in the area of ​​the far post, where Nadim was more agile than the defenders and hit the ball into the net with his head. In a few minutes, the Ukrainian center backs again let the author score the first goal, but this time Nadim forgave the rivals - the ball flew inches above the crossbar.

The Ukrainians tried to disturb the goalkeeper Dansen Petersen in the 18th minute, when Kozyrenko came to the strike position and from 18 meters hit the frame of the goal, but the ball flew just above the goal. A sweeping attack in the 25th minute led to the fact that Ovdiychuk was already threatening the opponents' goal, but Petersen reacted to the shot of the best Ukrainian football player of 2017.

And in the 33rd minute, Harder's individual skill was evident, which doubled the advantage of taxes in the score. The "ten" guests made a bold raid through the central zone to half of the field of Ukrainian women and hit the bottom right corner of Samson's goal with an irresistible long shot.

The second half started for Reva's team just like the first half. The defenders fouled Nadim in our possession, and Kravets fouled out against the striker in the penalty area. The victim did not fall short of the 11-meter mark.

The Ukrainian team did not disappear even after such a slap, and Romanenko soon had the opportunity to reduce the gap in the score. The Danish goalkeeper pulled the ball from the near corner after a dangerous header by Tatiana. A moment later, Apanashchenko punched from the penalty spot near the penalty area, but the ball, as if enchanted, passed the crossbar.

Denmark did not lose its momentum, too, several times sharply completing its own attacks, and in the 75th minute Samson was even forced to foul on Harder when she came face to face with a goalkeeper. However, Catherine tore off the applause of the stands, taking a penalty from Nadim.

The final part of the game turned out to be especially productive: on the goal of Troelsgor, who, running away from her opponent, skillfully passed the ball to the far bottom corner, Ukraine responded with a close shot from close range Ovdiychuk. And before the final whistle, the Danish "seven" set the final score - 1: 5.
