Vadim Kostyuchenko: "The next, fifth tournament" Crimea is Ukraine "will be international"

Today in Kherson ended traditional, fourth All-Ukrainian tournament "Crimea is Ukraine". The winner of the competition, which took place under the auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine, was the team of FC "Dnipro" from the city of the same name.

The award ceremony was attended by FFU First Vice-President Vadym Kostyuchenko and UEFA expert on the development of elite youth football Roger Meichtry, who received an FFU pennant, a T-shirt with the logo "Crimea is Ukraine" and gratitude from Andriy from one of the leaders of the Ukrainian federation. Pavelka for participating in educational and methodological forum for trainers-teachers of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

After the ceremony Vadim Kostyuchenko summed up the competition and assessed the future prospects.

- The tournament was held at a high level, which was confirmed by our guest from UEFA, - said the first vice-president of FFU. - The philosophy of this competition is that football unites everyone. Our federation is making efforts to expand the geography of the tournament, increase the number of its participants. And now another breakthrough is planned in this direction.

As Roger Meichtry assured us, he praised the organizational level of the tournament "Crimea is Ukraine", as well as its importance for the development of children's and youth football. A UEFA spokesman said that starting next year, the European Football Union would help bring the competition to the international level. So we are expecting guests from other countries at the fifth tournament!
