The Journalists' Team of Ukraine has won the Defender Cup

On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the walls of the Military Institute. Heroes of Kruty hosted the third charity mini-football tournament "Defender's Cup".

The main purpose of the charity tournament was the implementation of social initiatives aimed at the rehabilitation of servicemen who protect the integrity of Ukraine in the war zone in the east of our country.

The tournament was organized by the Football Federation of Ukraine, the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization. Heroes of Kruty and IA "News Center".

The third Defender's Cup charity tournament was attended by the team of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization. Heroes of Kruty, the team of the Military Institute of KNU. Taras Shevchenko, the team of journalists of Ukraine and the team of the Patrol Police Department.

Before the matches, the coach of the national team of Ukraine, the legend of Dynamo Kyiv Oleksandr Shovkovsky addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

According to the results of the draw in the first game, the teams of the Patrol Police and the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization named after Heroes of Kruty. The Patrol Police won - 1: 0.

In the second match, the team of journalists of Ukraine and the team of the Military Institute of the Kyiv National University named after TG Shevchenko. Journalists did not leave future officers a chance - 4: 1.

Before the final there was a match for bronze medals, in which the team of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization. Heroes of Kruty defeated the team of the Military Institute of KNU. Taras Shevchenko with a score of 3: 0.

The team of journalists of Ukraine and the team of the Patrol Police Department competed in the final of the Defender's Cup. In a difficult fight with a score of 3: 2 won the journalists, who became the winners of the trophy. The best players in them were forward Vadym Drobashka (IA "News Center") and goalkeeper Yaroslav Tvardovsky ("Glavkom").
